4K IPTV Ireland respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), the EU Copyright Directive, and Irish copyright law.
This Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") Policy describes the procedures for reporting alleged copyright infringement related to the 4K IPTV Ireland service and website (4kiptvireland.irish). We take copyright concerns seriously and respond promptly to valid takedown notices.
1Introduction
4K IPTV Ireland is committed to protecting intellectual property rights. We comply with the DMCA (United States), Directive (EU) 2019/790 on Copyright in the Digital Single Market, and Irish Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000 (as amended).
If you believe that copyrighted material owned by you or your client has been made available through our IPTV service in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please follow the procedures outlined in this DMCA Policy.
2Our Role as an IPTV Service Provider
4K IPTV Ireland acts as a middleware service provider. This means:
We do not host, store, broadcast, or produce any of the video, audio, or media content delivered through our IPTV service
We do not own the copyrights to any channels, films, series, or programs that may be accessible via our service
All content streamed through the IPTV service is sourced from publicly available third-party feeds
We provide the infrastructure (servers, software, customer accounts) but not the underlying media
Responsibility for content rights lies with the original broadcasters and content providers
Important Clarification
Despite our middleware role, we take all copyright complaints seriously. If we receive a valid takedown notice for a stream available through our IPTV service, we will act on it in accordance with this policy.
3Anti-Piracy Policy
4K IPTV Ireland has a zero-tolerance policy for piracy and copyright infringement. We:
Do not encourage, condone, or facilitate the unauthorised distribution of copyrighted material
Cooperate fully with copyright holders and law enforcement when valid concerns are raised
Prohibit our IPTV users from recording, redistributing, or rebroadcasting content received through the service
Reserve the right to terminate any IPTV account found to be infringing copyrights
Continuously monitor and respond to legitimate DMCA notices and takedown requests
If you are a copyright owner or authorised agent and believe that content accessible through our IPTV service infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent.
Before submitting, please ensure that you:
Are the actual rights holder or have authority to act on behalf of the rights holder
Have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised
Have considered fair use, fair dealing, or other applicable exemptions
Are prepared to verify your claim under penalty of perjury
5Required Information for a Valid Notice
A valid DMCA takedown notice must include all of the following information:
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (title, registration number, URL, or other identifying information)
Identification of the allegedly infringing material (specific channel name, stream URL, or content reference) with enough detail for us to locate it
Your contact information — full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
A statement of good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
A statement of accuracy made under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf
Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised representative
Incomplete Notices
DMCA notices missing any of the above information may not be processed. Incomplete or invalid takedown notices will be returned with a request for the missing information.
6Where to Send Your DMCA Notice
All DMCA takedown notices must be sent to our designated DMCA agent in writing:
For fastest processing, please send your DMCA notice via email with the subject line clearly marked as "DMCA Takedown Notice". Postal notices will also be accepted upon request.
7Counter-Notification Process
If you believe that material was wrongly removed from our IPTV service due to a mistaken DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification.
Counter-Notification Must Include:
Your physical or electronic signature
Identification of the material that was removed and its previous location on the IPTV service
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
Your full name, address, and telephone number
A statement consenting to jurisdiction in your local court (or in Ireland for international cases) and accepting service of process from the party who submitted the original DMCA notice
Send your counter-notification to the same email address as the original takedown: [email protected]
8Acknowledgment & Response Time
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice:
We will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours
We will review the notice and verify all required elements are present
If valid, we will take action (remove or disable access to the infringing material) within 5 business days
We will notify the affected IPTV user (if applicable) of the action taken
The complainant will receive confirmation once the takedown is complete
9Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and applicable EU/Irish law, we maintain a repeat infringer policy:
IPTV users who receive 3 or more valid copyright complaints will have their accounts terminated
Resellers found to be facilitating repeat infringement will lose their reseller status and all credits
Terminated accounts will be permanently banned from re-registering on our IPTV service
We may report serious or systematic infringement to relevant authorities or rights holders
No refunds will be issued for accounts terminated due to repeat copyright infringement
10Warning Against False Claims
Penalty for False Claims
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the alleged infringer, the IPTV service provider, or copyright owner.
Submitting a false DMCA notice or counter-notification is a serious offence. Please ensure all claims are made in good faith and with proper authority.
11International Copyright Compliance
As an Ireland-based IPTV service, we comply with multiple copyright frameworks:
Irish Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000 — Primary applicable law
EU Directive 2019/790 — EU Copyright in the Digital Single Market
EU Directive 2001/29/EC — InfoSoc Directive
WIPO Copyright Treaty — International framework
US DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512) — Followed as best-practice for US-originated content claims
Copyright holders from any jurisdiction may submit takedown notices using the procedure outlined in this policy.
12Modifications to this DMCA Policy
We reserve the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time to reflect changes in law, our IPTV service, or our procedures. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent version. Material changes will be announced via email or a prominent notice on our website.
Continued use of our IPTV service after changes to this DMCA Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
